Following the launch of The Rebecca Judd Show on Apple Music 1 Shaboozey provided exclusive details about his work with Beyoncé for her historic album Cowboy Carter set to release on March 29, 2024.
Shaboozey made significant progress in his debut year by adding his talents to the Beyoncé album through his work on “Spaghettii” and “Sweet Honey Buckiin'”.
Shaboozey explained the singular recording collaboration between Beyoncé which resulted in his appearance on her eighth studio album in this interview.
He described his experience of contributing to the album even though he never recorded with Beyoncé in person. He explained that finishing an album requires intense concentration which is why he understood the situation.
The recording space where I was located remained adjacent to her recording space. Raphael Saadiq and The-Dream joined everyone else present in the recording session.
Being in your own room with total focus while completing work was the setting.
The recording of his two tracks took place during two consecutive days. At that moment when I recorded ‘Spaghettii’ I turned to the engineer saying this song is extraordinary. This is the one right here. The song I had written was the one I believed she would understand perfectly.

The track “Spaghettii” has turned out to be a major success along with legendary country music artist Linda Martell and earned a nomination for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Shaboozey found the production experience particularly moving because the engineers kept every recording he provided exactly as he had originally performed it.

I was blown away when I saw that the entire recording material remained preserved in their system because it was truly amazing. I respect artists deeply so I am thrilled that they maintained every recording I made in their final production.
Shaboozey considers working with Beyoncé to be his most professional career accomplishment to date. He declared this experience as his number one highlight during the year 2024 which turned out to be a milestone year because of his record-breaking hit “Tipsy (A Bar Song).”
The song established a new record as the longest-running No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 chart hit by a solo performer. Shaboozey became the initial Black male musician to dominate the Billboard Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs chart at the same time.
Shaboozey celebrated his outstanding 2025 Grammy Awards year through five nominations starting with “Tipsy (A Bar Song).“ According to Shaboozey his song establishes an emotional bond with listeners since “When you hear the song, it definitely has that emotion inside.” People can relate to that.”
The musical partnership between Shaboozey and Beyoncé has established him as a breakout talent in the music industry and his ongoing success provides fans with anticipation for future releases.
