Johni Broome from Auburn University feels fully prepared to play his role with the Tigers in their Saturday Final Four match against Florida.
Broome told journalists on Thursday that he feels totally pain-free and he has complete freedom of movement leading up to the crucial matchup against Florida.
The unanimous first-team AP All-American Broome spent a short period out of games following his injury that occurred when he landed awkwardly during the second part of Auburn’s 25-point victory.
Broome had been prohibited from practicing until his team reached San Antonio although he made his return to the game shortly after by sinking a crucial 3-pointer.
“I’m ready to go. Broome expressed his determination to appear on Saturday by saying “Taking it day by day but set for Saturday.” “No limitations.”
During practice the star player participated in aggressive physical activities with his teammates to test the condition of his injured elbow.

The contact pushed him through while he tested the elbow to see its reaction which proved positive. The athlete Broome declared his full participation in the upcoming championship match.

Coach Bruce Pearl from Auburn expressed his relief about the situation. Pearl noted during his interview that Broome passed his first moving day in practice. “I’m glad he feels that way.”
Broome received significant attention after his injury occurred when he winced in pain after a hard fall during their matchup against Michigan State. The medical check-up ended when Broome returned to continue the game and scored 25 points and grabbed 14 rebounds.
Forward Alex Condon from Florida University faces injuries alongside his team during the competition. His right ankle that he injured during the Sweet 16 keeps improving but does not have complete recovery yet. Saturday will mark Condon’s first day ready to play according to his expectation.
