The age-old feud between Ghanaian politician Kennedy Agyapong and his baby mama, Moira Araba Dawson-Williams, is back in the news after the MP celebrated his 65 th birthday.
In an emotional Tik Tok video that has since become viral, Moira has accused the former Assin Central Member of Parliament of shunning their daughter, Anell Agyapong, even after they had tried on several occasions to reconcile with him.
The video also contained an audio recording of Kennedy claiming that he did not want to help his daughter with her education, despite her writing an emotional letter begging him to forgive her.
Challenging the Apology Narrative
Moira shot down direct speculations in public that Anell had at one time apologized to her father and had been forgiven.
Rather, she said the offer to apologize had been flatly refused, publicly as well as privately, and that Kennedy had gone even further to disassociate himself with their daughter.

Before dawn Anell had gone to his room and knelt physically before Kennedy and had sought his forgiveness, but had been rejected by him according to Moira. She was said to have called her mother crying after being rejected.
“She attempted to reconcile with her father, and he closed her out,” Moira claimed. She had gone there with her heart clean and pure and she had come out even more broken.”
Charges of Neglect
It was not the end of emotional accusations. Moira alleged that Kennedy Agyapong, the independent man who is rich and always speaks his mind dropped the ball at one of the most vulnerable times of Anell.
As their daughter was getting medical care in a recovery unit in a foreign country, Kennedy supposedly cancelled her membership in Costco and refused her rations and other basic provisions. Moira told me she pleaded with him to get her daughter back home, but he refused.
She was ill and I wanted his assistance. I begged and besought him, she answered. But he answered no. Just no.”
She followed up by saying that when Kennedy went forth to denounce the apology given by Anell, their daughter refused to communicate to her during a period of seven months and subsequently left their home.
She is no longer one of his 22 children.
Kennedy Agyapong who has come out publicly to recognize that he has impregnated 22 women has always been shouting about the need to discipline and be independent. However, the now former lawmaker is not supposed to brag about that figure, as claimed by Moira.
Moira said curtly: she [Anell] does not think herself a part of that number. He ought not to tell people he has 22 children, it is 21.
She also accused the family members of Kennedy, such as his sister and her husband, of contributing in the blow up between Kennedy and Anell.
A Family Drama History
This is not the first time that Kennedy Agyapong is in a tangle with Moira and Anell. Their problems were brought to the fore back in 2020 when the MP accused Anell of leaving the Southern California Institute of Technology despite considerable financial investments in her education.
Kennedy even accused her of immoral acts in her stay in foreign countries, the charges that greatly pained Anell and Moira.
After the backlash, Anell had posted an apology message on her social media stating that she regrets her old decisions and seeking a second chance. But Kennedy was undisturbed. He refused to accept the apology and said that it was just to make him pay her new school fees.
Kennedy said at the time, she said, She is playing with emotions. I am not going to be fooled.
The Reaction in Public to the Revived Feud
The day Moira released a video, social media was all ears. Some feel a certain sympathy with her and Anell, but others raise the question of timing, particularly given the reported presidential aspirations of Kennedy in 2028.

Kennedy Agyapong is yet to react to the new allegations against him by Moira. He has been in the limelight with business and political activities, particularly after his high-profile 65th birthday party, a party that received commendation and light among his fans and opponents.
However, due to the revelations of his recent personal life by Moira, everyone is anticipating to whether he will ever break his silence or maintain his earlier stand.
