A few minutes later, the crowd witnessed the spectacle of Nana Kwame Kyeretwie, the son of the King of the Asante Nation, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, who strode down the red carpet in a flashy Rolls-Royce Cullinan, looking very sharp and immaculately dressed, and with an elegant lady on his arm at the DPS International Ghana 2025 Prom and Leavers Dinner.
This clip, which is currently circulating on social media, has elicited admiration, curiosity, and pride among the Ghanaians. Not every day a prince appears on the prom of a high school, like they see in the movies.
Future Fit Arrival of a Royal Tyre
The prom night was held in Accra and was attended by final-year students of the DPS International school, Ghana to have their last glamorous and partying night together before they separated. However, what made the headlines was the coming of Nana Kwame.
Young prince, wearing a designer suit that fit perfectly, walked out of the luxurious Rolls-Royce Cullinan with a composed sense of confidence. Prior to walking into the venue, he would go to the side of the car to open the door for his fancy date, a move that would immediately earn him commendation among those present and viewers at home too.
The Rolls Royce with all its luxury and class made the moment feel like a red carpet event but with a Ghanaian touch.
Kingly Blood, Unpretending State
His entry was kingly but people who have observed his performances in the public know that he walks in with a measure of discipline combined with humility a character that has been pointed out to be given to him as a royalty.
He had only a couple of days before attended with his father the Asantehene Open Golf Tournament at the Royal Golf Club in Kumasi, where he socialized with leading business people and sports administrators including major officials of Telecel Ghana.

REACTIONS
Social media predictably had nothing to say. The video of Nana Kwame stepping out of the Rolls-Royce, accompanied by faint music in the background and the cameras flash lights, was viral in few hours.
VICTOR, one of the commenters, said:
That is the feeling of Oheneba Kyeretwie being your Prom King will be awesome 🥰🥰 voy Joyoyoyoyoxy sixty nine 🤨☺.
Another, Panther, answered briefly, but outspokenly:
Yi go sika fata abrantie yi ampa 😁💯.
((Translation: Money is the thing for this young man!))
One of the users going by Spyces throwbacks commented on how the prince conducted himself:
His manner of going about with this small deposit of years is grave! His maturity level and poise in getting things done. You notice he is well dressed.”
Still, not all of them concentrated on Nana Kwame only. Other lens were turned on his date: M.E. observed:
The smiling lady messed that up. She was not looking at him but at the camera.”
— a light poke at what appeared to be a lost love chemistry.
The other user, KK, pleaded:
My prince, do not go on social media, please, abeg in the name of my king. 🙏.”
It is Not Just a Style, He is a Leader
Other than the glam and the glitz, Nana Kwame Kyeretwie is also said to be a man of the student leadership. School insiders claim he was appointed prefect in the academic year- a sign of his responsibility and leadership traits.
Teachers and students portray him to be respectful, concentrated and surprisingly down to earth given his royal background.
He does not make you feel small. One of his classmates who did not want to be named said, You would think that he is only another fellow student until you hear the surname.
A Prince of Two Worlds

The reason that Nana Kwame story is very different is that he creates a very volvitic balance between modernity and tradition.
Being a son of the Ashanti king – the throne with centuries of cultural traditions – there is an implication of respect, obedience and honor. Concurrently, it is crucial to remember that as a modern Ghanaian teenager, one is forced to live in a world of TikTok, sneakers, and prom night euphoria.

His recent outings indicate that he is coping with the two respectfully. Not just in a golf course with executives, but also in a prom hall with his date, he is shaping a face that will one day have more than just labels, it will have legacy.
The Royal Stamp Prom Night
The 2025 DPS International prom will not only be remembered because of the food, the music, or even the fashion but because of a moment when a prince entered like a man, attended to his peers, and showed everyone that royalty as well as brought up properly fit in perfectly in the actual world.
To most, it was a preview of what the future could be like, one in which young royalties are not necessarily heirs to the throne, but models of excellence, humility, and presence.
