JAY-Z and Beyoncé have been officially dropped from a spectacular lawsuit that claimed the couple saw a horrifying occurrence at a party held by Sean “Diddy” Combs. The case revolves around charges made by a man named Manzaro Joseph, who claims the assault happened during a fancy Miami party.
Joseph’s original complaint implicated the music power couple, alongside NBA star LeBron James, celebrity jeweler Jacob Arabo, and Gloria and Emilio Estefan. However, a recent amendment to the lawsuit has removed any reference to JAY-Z and Beyoncé.
According to TMZ, the change occurred when JAY-Z’s attorney, Alex Spiro, cautioned Joseph’s legal team to avoid making frivolous accusations. Spiro presented proof that the pair was not in Miami during the purported events.
“Mr. Carter wasn’t in Florida at that time to witness this incident. This is more nonsense that erodes trust in our ‘justice system,’” Spiro stated, emphatically denying the allegations.
The high-profile names still mentioned in the lawsuit, including LeBron James and Jacob Arabo, are not being sued but remain part of Joseph’s detailed account. Emilio Estefan, however, is reportedly still named as a defendant in the case.
In his initial petition, Joseph claimed that he was drugged, taken to the Estefans’ Miami estate, and made to wear a penis mask for Diddy’s son Christian Combs’ birthday party. Joseph said that Gloria Estefan tried to intercede but was hushed by her husband, Emilio.

The plaintiff further alleged he encountered LeBron James wearing only a towel at the event. Joseph stated that the basketball star responded to his presence with alarm, urging others to take action.
Joseph also claimed to have been escorted via a secret tunnel to another Diddy-owned home, where he supposedly saw JAY-Z and Beyonce. In his account of events, Beyoncé expressed disbelief and questioned the strange scene. Jacob Arabo, a celebrity jeweler, was also embroiled in the story and is said to be confused.
Attorneys for other individuals named in the lawsuit have dismissed the claims as fabrications. LeBron James’ legal team pointed to publicly available evidence, including the NBA star’s busy basketball schedule in April 2015, to refute the allegations.
“This is demonstrably false. LeBron was in Cleveland playing for the Cavaliers at the time, not attending a Miami party,” his legal representative commented.
Diddy, who is currently facing unrelated charges of sex trafficking and racketeering, has also denied the allegations through his legal team.
