The legendary NFL Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw rescued plane passengers from their stuck aircraft until Pittsburgh residents finally got free from the jammed door.
The KDKA reporter Ricky Sayer stated Bradshaw was present on the plane while it stopped abruptly in Pittsburgh’s runway. The issue? Passengers remained trapped inside the plane because its door became jammed for more than 30 minutes.
Bradshaw located himself in the front row so he managed to open the door, which freed passengers from their forced confinement.
During his announcement,, the pilot thanked the passenger who rescued the situation but refused to disclose the person’s name although everyone else present knew who had helped.
At 76 years old, Bradshaw was driving to attend a roast event for his Steelers teammate Mel Blount, who was celebrating his birthday on Friday.
The comedian was on his way to entertain the audience but instead proved himself a genuine hero in that critical moment.
The actions of Terry Bradshaw during his recent airport incident affirm the reasons why Steelers fans throughout the years have recognized him as an all-time great.
Throughout football history Bradshaw has received tremendous admiration because he won four Super Bowls with the Steelers during the 1970s and earned the 1978 NFL MVP honor while establishing himself as a beloved sports figure to this day. He received Hall of Fame status during the year 1989.

Bradshaw has become as well-known for his NFL pregame show work on Fox as he is known for his legendary football passes.
His outstanding leadership skills together with unwavering strength emerged once again to rescue people from the unfortunate airport situation.
The Pittsburgh fanbase only saw this incident as more proof that Bradshaw still delivers for the team. Through his appearances on television broadcasts and his unexpected heroic rescue at the airport Terry Bradshaw remains a hero to his fans in multiple ways.
